Leamington Hastings Academy offers places to children in reception, year 1 and year 2, as well as nursery places for children from the term in which they turn three. For busy parents we also offer before and after-school care from eight in the morning until six in the evening. School starts at 8.45, but parents can drop-off their children from 8.30 at no extra cost.
Class sizes are small, usually less than twenty pupils to a teacher. This allows us to know each child as an individual and create a safe, nurturing environment for your child’s first steps in their schooling, as well as helping them to achieve well in learning.
Through knowing each child as an individual, we deliver high educational standards throughout the nursery and school. We share the Diocese of Coventry Multi-Academy Trust's aims:
As Church School we aim to offer an education rooted in the Christian faith, but also open to families of all faiths and none. We support the four basic elements of the Chuch Of England's Vision for Education:
The academy is judged to be ‘good’ by OFSTED, you can read the report here.
If you are interested in your child coming to Leamington Hastings, either in the nursery or in reception, year 1 or year 2, contact the office 01926 632359. Our admissions policy is at the foot of the page.
The academy is part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi-Academy Trust. The Trust provides valuable ‘back-office’ support meaning staff can focus on providing the best care and education possible.
After many years of dedicated service Rose Plumbley stepped down as headteacher at the end of the Summer 2016. Since then the school has been led by Sandra Barnes as Head of School and Ian Dewes as Executive Head. Both have come from nearby Dunchurch Infant School and Nursery to build upon the excellent practice which already exists at Leamington Hastings.
